The introduction of a certain amount of octene weakens the crystallization of the polyethylene segment, forming an amorphous region (rubber phase) exhibiting rubber elasticity. OBC3725 has excellent high elasticity, high toughness, and good low-temperature performance. Furthermore, its molecular chain is saturated, containing relatively few tertiary carbon atoms. Its narrow relative molecular mass distribution makes the material less prone to shrinkage and flexing during foaming, injection, and extrusion processing. The polymer's narrow molecular weight distribution, highly regular short branches, and limited number of long branches give OBC 3725 its easy-to-process characteristics, and its performance surpasses that of POE, EPDM, EVA, SBC, etc.
